Foundation Course Content
Course title
“Therapeutically Activating Nursing Care for Adults after Acquired Brain Injuries – Bobath Concept”
Course Objective
The course aims to enable participants to identify individual resources and nursing problems of patients, derive nursing goals from them, and apply appropriate nursing measures. The course teaches an individual, body-friendly way of working (e.g., back-friendly) and addresses the importance of interdisciplinarity with other professional groups.
Participants should understand that every nursing action, individually adapted and adequately supported, serves to achieve the best possible improvement in patients’ quality of life according to the principles of therapeutically activating nursing care. By linking theoretical content with practical work with patients, a holistic perspective and a sense of responsibility are to be fostered.
